According to an old saying "If you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time". The Stone Forest is the top attraction of Yunnan. It is over 270 million years old and was an ocean. The ocean subsided and the Stone Forest was created due to erosion.

We went to Kunming again in September 2010. This is my third visit to Shilin.
