Tea at Beau's Tea House

We came here to try the Welsh High Tea.

Fruit scone, jam, whipped cream and Bara Brith (a cake made with dried fruit soaked in tea!)

We did our walkabout of the town after lunch. We saw a tea house and decided to have tea first before driving to Llanberis.

Beaumaris Castle

Construction of this castle began in 1295. It is the finest of all the great Edwardian castles in Wales. It has the most perfect example of symmetrical concentric "wall within wall" design and was regarded as the pinnacle of military engineering during its time.

This last and greatest castle of Edward I was never completed. It is now a World Heritage Site.

We had roast  for lunch since it was a Sunday.
