Dinner at the Flying Chariots

We had our dinner here in Heathrow . Our flight home was at 10.05 pm. The three of us came back while our girl continued her stay in London.

We took a train back to Tottenham Hale Station. We collected our luggage and headed straight to Heathrow.

Goddards at Greenwich

We came here  because we wanted to try all the restaurants recommended by Andrew Zimmern in Bizarre Food Delicious Destinations London. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-W8fg7anWuw&t=7s  Pie and mash is a traditional English working class food.

Pie and Mash

Traditional pie and mash are made with minced beef filling unless otherwise stated. It is served together with a parsley sauce called liquor.

Where dreadnoughts sleeping seamen

The last item of our itinerary is to have lunch at Goddards at Greenwich in Greenwich before going to the airport. We walked to Victoria Station to take the train to Lewisham.

Buckingham Palace

The State Rooms of the Palace are open to visitors during the Annual Summer Opening in July, August and September. We finally got a chance to see the inside of the palace. Regrettably, photography is not allowed inside and as such we have no photo to post. Please see my earlier post

They managed to join the Royal family in their RAF celebration in 2017

If you do not have any particular reason to visit the Buckingham Palace and merely want to see a palace in London, I would advise you to visit Hampton Court or Windsor Castle instead. There are more things to see there.
