Seville

Seville is the capital of Andalusia in southern Spain. We did our walkabout in the old town upon arrival.

Our visit coincided with the Feria de Abril de Sevilla where the locals parade in their traditional costumes


`Ponte de 25 Abril

This suspension bridge was known as Salazar Bridge when it was opened in 1966. The bridge was renamed to commemorate the revolution of 25th April 1974 which restored democracy to Portugal.

Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara

It is the largest observation point in Lisbon.

This furnicular (technically a tram) has been ferrying passengers up and down between Baixa and Bairro Alto since 1885.
