The wives and children of Pharaohs were buried here. Over 80 tombs have been found but only 4 are open to the public. The highlight here is the Tomb of Queen Nefertari.
The tombs are about 260 m from the entrance
There are less visitors here than the Valley of the Kings
We had the 4 tombs to ourselves
We wandered further to see if we could enter the other tombs
All other tombs are closed
