The Mortuary Temple of Ramses III is the only remaining temple here. The other temples are in ruins. It is second in size only to the Karnak Temple. Ramses III was the last of the Egyptian great Pharaohs. He modelled this temple on Ramses II's mortuary temple at the Ramesseum.
