Hippodrome

The Hippodrome was the centre of Byzantium's life for 1000 years and of Ottoman's for another 400 years



Obelisk of Theodosius was carved in Egypt in 1450 BC. It stood in Luxor before it was brought here.

Kaiser Wilheim"s Fountain was presented by the Germans in 1901
