Alexandria

Alexandria is Egypt's second largest city and was  founded by Alexander the Great. Unfortunately,we were unable to visit  the Graeco-Roman Museum as it was closed for long term repairs. The main attraction here is the Catacombs of Kom ash Shuqqafa



Dating from 2nd century AD it is the largest Graeco-Roman necropolis in Egypt. It is listed as one of the seven Wonders of the Medieval world by LIFE
