Ramesseum

Ramses II ruled Egypt for 67 years in the 19th Dynasty of the New Kingdom (c1279-1213 BC). The Ramesseum is the mortuary temple of Ramses II. He built this temple to impress his subjects. Regretably, not much remains today.
