Abu al Naga Tombs

Abu al naga is one of the longest occupied necropolis of Ancient Egypt: it was used as a burial place almost continuously between the Middle Kingdom and the early Christian (Coptic) periods, i.e. a period of c2500 years. High ranking officials were buried here.






Only two tombs are open to the public
