St James's Palace

Completed in 1536, St James's Palace has been the residence of the kings and queens of  England for over 300 years. However since the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837, the sovereign has lived at Buckingham Palace.

There was no guard on duty when we were there. This is one of the two places where you can take photograph standing next to the guard. The other place is Windsor Castle.
