St Patrick's Cathedral

St Patrick's Cathedral is the largest church in Ireland. It is the national cathedral of the Church of Ireland. It was built near a sacred well where the patron saint of Ireland baptized converts cAD 450. Much of the current building dates back to c1254. With the establishment of St Patrick's Cathedral, It would mean that there will be two cathedrals in Dublin. The Archbishop of Dublin has his seat in the nearby Christ Church cathedral. Needless to say, confrontation between the two churches began and was only resolved by the Six-Point Agreement made in 1300.
