This restaurant first opened its door on 1st August 1874. It is situated on the basement of the Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) in Mareinplatz. It is a huge restaurant with seating capacity for 1,100 guests. It is a very popular restaurant and we had to make our reservation while we were still in Malaysia
