Hohes Schloss

Hohes Schloss was built between 13th and 15th century. It served as a summer residence and fortress for the Bishops of Augsburg. The courtyard walls are decorated with trompe l'oeil (3-D effects) doors and window frames. A good example of trompe l'oeil can be found in San Satiro in Milan.(https://slsongtravel.blogspot.com/2022/12/san-satiro.html)

The window frame is flat
