Duomo di Siena 2

The cathedral was completed between 1215 and 1263 on the site of an earlier structure. It is one of Italy's greatest cathedrals built in the Romanesque-Gothic architecture.


The lower portion of the facade was built in the Romanesque style while the upper portion is Gothic



This bronze door is a recent replacement to the wooden door

The original stained glass is in the museum
