Amber (Amer) Fort is located in Amer, Rajasthan. The fort was established in 1592 by Man Singh I on the remains of an existing fort and extended by successive rulers. The Rajput Maharajas moved their capital to Jaipur and lived here until 1727.

We wanted to take the elephant ride to this World Heritage Site but were unable to do so because there was a long queue. Our driver drove us to the top.
