Cathedral Church of St Peter

This Cathedral is considered the finest surviving example of Decorated Gothic architecture. The construction of the Cathedral started in 1113 and completed in 1133







The largest single collection of 66 medieval figure sculptures in England




We were unable to enter the cathedral as it was closed for service. We came back the following day and it was also closed. I believe we will definitely come back again.
