Old Royal Naval College

This college was designed by Christopher Wren and was built between 1696 and 1712. It was intended to serve as the Royal Hospital for Seamen at Greenwich. The Royal Navy took over when the hospital was closed in 1869.

The whole structure was built in two halves so that the Queen's House can keep its view of River Thames
