Canterbury Cathedral : The Interior

Thomas Becket was the Archbishop of Canterbury when he was murdered in 1170 in the cathedral. Pilgrimage to the cathedral begun when he was canonized.



This nave at 100 m makes Canterbury the longest Medieval church in Europe













The Choir completed in 1184 is one of the longest in England
