Mount Fuji is Japan highest peak at 3,776 m. It has been dormant since 1707. We were at the Kawaguchiko, one of the four 5th stations connected by roads. The climb to the top begins here.

Ema

Ema plaques are votive offering sold at the Shrine. Worshippers buy the plaques, write their wishes on it and hang them on a Ema stand, in the hope that the Shrine's deity will grant them their wishes.
