This temple is situated on the slope of Mount Lembuyang. It predates the coming of Hinduism to Bali.

Many tourists come for the Instagram photo of the Gates of Heaven. I regret to tell you that there is no water in front of the gate. Instead, a mirror was used for the reflection. Be prepared to queue for at least 3 hours.
We were happy with this photo.
The trick is to stand by and jump in front of the gate when they call the next person in the queue
We were not willing to waste 3 hours of our lives waiting for that instagram pic!
