The Cotswolds were designated as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1966. Houses and churches were built from local limestone in the 12th century from the profits of the wool trade. We started our three days two nights driving tour of the Cotswolds in Chippenham.
We took the 9.32 am train from Paddington
Breakfast on the train

We took a taxi from the station to collect our car
Looking forward to our driving tour
We were early and our car wasn't ready until 12.00 noon
