Place du Petit Sablon

This garden was created in 1890 in honour of Counts Egmont and Hornes who led the fight against the Spanish tyranny in the 16th century.

The park faces the Notre Dame du Sablon

Both Counts were beheaded in Grand Place

There are 48 statues here which represent the crafts once practised in Brussels. Can you name them?

A clock maker?

A wood cutter?
