India Gate

India Gate is a war memorial to the Indian soldiers who died in the First World War and the Third Anglo-Afghan War.

It is 42 m high

About 13,000 names are incribed on the Gate

The statue of King George V was installed under the canopy in 1931 but was removed in the 1960s

We came back the following morning

It was less crowded in the morning
