Humayun's Tomb

Humayun was the second Mughal emperor. This mausaleum was commissioned by his widow Haji Begum after his death and was completed in 1572. It was the first Mughal garden tomb and has inspired many later monuments such as Taj Mahal.





This tomb was declared a World Heritage Site in 1993
