Acropolis Museum

The entire first floor slopes to the second floor and displays artefacts found on the slopes of the Acropolis

The glass walls allow visitors to see the Parthenon marbles in natural light

The frieze is displayed on the outer wall of this rectangle which is the same size and orientation  as the Parthenon to show how it would have looked on the Parthenon itself

Parts of the frieze taken by Lord Elgin are replaced by plaster copies

I must say the British Museum has a better collection of the Parthenon marbles. But with the completion of this museum, the call for the return of the marbles from the British Museum will be louder. Will the British Museum return the Elgin's marbles? I think not. Knowing the British, they will not lose their marbles.
