Waterstones' flagship shop on Piccadilly in London opened its door in September 1999. With 150,000 titles in stock and over eight and a half miles of shelving, it is now the biggest bookshop in Europe. It has eight floors open to the public, six of which are dedicated to books and a bar on the 5th floor.
