Shaanxi History Museum

This Museum is built according to the Tang Dynasty architectural style. A definite must see. 4000 free tickets are issued every day. When we first reached the museum, the compound was empty because all the tickets for the morning session have been given out. We were told to come back in the afternoon. So we went for lunch.
We had our lunch near the museum

When we came back at 2.00 pm. the place was packed with people and a long queue for the tickets. Luckily, I was able to "persuade" a guard to let us have two tickets and minus the queuing.

Here we can see the Terracotta Warriors with different poses up close.

These little terracotta warriors are found in many tombs in Xian.
