The City Wall were rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty over the existing Tang Dynasty wall. The wall formed rectangle with a circumference of 14 km. The height of the wall is 12 m. The width of the wall tapers from 12-14 m at the top to 15-18 m at the bottom.
