Jiaozi

A giant Jiaozi at the entrance of De Fa Chang Restaurant.




They are delicious. We have them every day either as breakfast, tea time, dinner or supper.

Han Yang Ling

This is the Mausoleum of Emperor Liu Qi of the Western Han Dynasty.





Here, you can see the ongoing excavation works through the glass on the sides and below your feet.









































According to the archaeologists, the naked and armless statues had clothes and wooden arms. By looking at them in their naked form, you can tell the sex of the person depicted by the statue.


Ba Xian Monastery

As the name suggests, it is dedicated to the legendary Eight Immortals.








Xian Museum

A modern museum completed in May 2007. It shows Xian as the capital of the various dynasties.












A sitting buddha. Very rare in the world.


Small Wild Goose Pagoda

As the name suggests, it is smaller than its counterpart. It was built during the Tang Dynasty.

Tomb of Huo Qubing

Huo Qubing was a general during the Western Han Dynasty.














"Horse treads over the Hun" is the most well known stone carving here


Tomb of Wei Guifei

We chanced upon this tomb on our way to Zhao Ling. This tomb is situated on the top of a hill with a long flight of steps to the top. We were told that she was a concubine in the Tang Dynasty.
