We DiDi to the Beijing North Station. This is the first time we ride a high speed train in China. Our train was at 0716. It took us 2.5 hours to reach Datong which is 337 km away. Boarding the high speed train is slightly different in China.
Take note that there is a ticket gate 检票口 No 1 and platform 站台 6 for Datong
You should go to the ticket gate No 1 and wait for the platform 6 door to open
