Our first stop was Alte Kirch Garmisch. We walked to the station and jumped into bus No. 4 as per our DB App as it was leaving. The bus was full and we didn't know where to get off. A pleasant German lady pointed out to us when she saw the photo on my phone although we didn't understand her.
This church was first documented as a parish church in 1288. It was extended and the tower was added in the 14th century.
The paintings on the wall are from the 13th to the 15th centuries
