We did not want to walk to the funicular station. This is because of the many flights of steep steps we had to climb to reach the station the first time we came here. The distance looked so near on our (contourless) map.
We wanted the taxi to take us to the funicular station, but the driver did not know how to get there (or was he lying?) and dropped us at the parking lot about three quarter up the hill.
