Windsor Castle

We walked to the castle from the station.

We took photographs of the surrounding and when we approached the ticket booth we were informed that the castle was closed at 3.00 pm. 

So we decided to come back first thing in the morning and meanwhile to visit the high street and do some shopping instead of going back to London

.

I thought I read somewhere that the last admission is at 4.15 pm. One lesson learnt here. Always check the closing time.
