The Citadel at Jebel al-Qala'a

The citadel sits on Jebel al-Qala'a, the highest hill in Amman. It was inhabited since the bronze age but what we see today is from the Roman, Byzantine and Umayyad periods. The following shows the views of Amman from the Citadel
