The Long Corridor is a covered walkway that stretches over 700 meters and adorned with 14,000 of colourful paintings depicting scenes from Chinese folklore, history, and daily life. Emperor Qianlong constructed the long corridor so that his mother could enjoy her walk protected from the sun and rain.
