Bavaria with Deutschland Ticket

We went to Germany for the first time in April 2024. We wanted to drive along the Romantic Road but decided not to as we are not comfortable drivng on the other (wrong) side of the road. So we changed our itinerary to include some towns along the Romantic Road such as Wurzburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Augsburg, Fussen and Hohenswangau and added Garmisch Partenkirchen. Germany is such a beautiful couuntry and we enjoyed our trip so much that the only regret we had was why didn't we go to Germany earlier.

We highly recommend that you (1) get a Deutschland Ticket. It is valid for one month for just €49 and can be used throughout Germany on all local trains (except high speed trains) and on public transport such as buses, trams and subways. We boarded all transport without worrying about how or where to buy the tickets. (2) And download the DB Navigator App for free where you can check the timetables for the trains, trams and buses.
