Our first site in Datong is the Xuankong Hanging Temple. The temple is situated at the foot of the Mount Heng about 65 km from Datong. It was constructed in 491 during the Northern Wei Dynasty. It is the only existing temple which is dedicated to three religions: Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
