The Valley of the Kings

This is the burial ground for the pharoahs of the New Kingdom.  Below is a  model of the ground at the entrance.

The tombs are open on a rotation basis in order to preserve them.Thus you may not be able to see the tombs that you want.  A ticket entitles you to visit three tombs only and a separate ticket is needed to enter the Tomb of Tutankhamun. We visited the Tombs of Ramses III, Ramses IV, Ramses IX and the Tomb of Tutankhamun. Sadly, no photography was allowed iinside the tombs.
