Petosiris was a High Priest of Thoth during the arrival of Alexander the Great in c340 BC. The tomb was built in the form of a small temple with coloured reliefs of traditional Egyptian scenes of farming, everyday life and offerings. However, the difference here is that it was done in the Greek style with figures wearing Greek attire.
Our guide and driver together with the two policemen (with their AK 47s)
The reliefs on the wall were carved (3D) not painted
My cartouche T-shirt which I bought on our first trip to Egypt
What a relief !
