The Augsburg town hall was completed in 1615 but was badly damaged during World War II. It was rebuilt after the war to its original state. It is regarded as Germany's finest example of Mannerist architecture. It is also the landmark of the city of Augsburg. The Goldener Saal (Golden Hall) is the most impressive room here.
