Besakih Temple Complex

Besakih Temple consists of 22 temples spread over 3 square kilometres on the slopes of Gunung Agung. It is the largest and holiest temple of Balinese Hinduism. As such, it is often referred to as the Mother Temple of Bali. It is uncertain when the temples here were built.

We visited two of the temples; Pura Penataran Agung and Pura Batumadeg.
