Lucerne is in French and Luzern is in German. Lucerne is in the German speaking part of Switzerland and as such is known as Luzern in Lucerne. Got it? We started our walk from the station on the south bank and crossed River Reuss using Spreurbrucke. We walked to the Old Town from there and crossed the river again using the Chapel Bridge to go back to the station.
Luckily it was light rain and did not affect our walkabout
