The twin towers of Grossmunster dominate the skyline of Zurich. We could see them from our hotel. Work on this church started in 1100 and the towers were completed in the 15th century.
The Bronze Door
The stained glass windows here were done by German artist Sigmar Polke in 2009. He did not use glass. He used semi-precious stones by cutting them into thin slices to let the light through.
