I shall start with our visit to Jordan in April 2012. We went to the Dead Sea and experienced one of nature's most extraordinary wonders. The exceptionally high salt concentration makes the water much denser than ordinary seawater, making it almost impossible to sink. We actually floated on the surface! Yes, floated!
