The Matterhorn stands at the height of 4,478 m. Although it is not the highest mountain in Switzerland, it is certainly the most famous. The Matterhorn was first conquered by a team led by Edward Whymper in 1865. It has been the logo for Toblerone chocolates since 1908 but has to be removed recently because under Swiss laws the chocolate can no longer be considered "of Switzerland".
