The treasure of the cathedral is the marble mosaic which covers the entire floor of the cathedral. This was done between 14th to 16th centuries by 40 artists. The marble mosaic is usually covered and is only uncovered for a period of 2 months in a year. This year they were uncovered from 18th September to 18th October 2022. We were very lucky to have visited on 13th October.
