Regent Street was built in 1819 as an early example of town planning in England. It was named after the Prince Regent and celebrated its 200 years anniversary in 2019. Liberty started here in 1875 and followed by Hamleys in 1881. Today it is home to many world class flagship stores.
It is more upmarket than Oxford street
