Saga Arashiyama Station
We walked to the station to take the direct train (Sagano Line) back to central Kyoto. We were surprised that no one stays back in Arashiyama after dark.
It was only 7.30 pm and the streets were empty

The last order is at 7.00 pm!
This restaurant is right in front of Tenryu-ji
Togetsukyo Bridge
It has been the landmark of Arashiyama in western Kyoto for over 400 years.
Togetsukyo literally means "moon crossing bridge"
The current bridge was built in 1934
It looks wooden but has columns made of concrete
The bridge cuts the river into two halves
The river is called Honsu River on the west side of the bridge and Katsura River on the east side
