Church of St Anne Shandon

This was our first stop in Cork. This Anglican church was built between 1722 and 1726. It has been a place of worship for over 300 years. Its famous Bells of Shandon first rang in 1752.

Each side of the tower has a clock

The clock tower is known as the four faced liar
because they sometimes tell the different time at the same time.
